Uploading Files

One can upload files to mediawiki. Only specified file-types are allowed. However even if zip is listed among allowed files, one cannot upload zip files as internal mediawiki mechanism prevents it. Mediawiki version 1.17 provides a message:

Cannot upload this file because Internet Explorer would detect it as "application/zip", which is a disallowed and potentially dangerous file type.
